Chi Sono • Who I Am

Geel acronimo formato dai nomi della mia famiglia(GiancarloEmmaEdoardoLia), mio vero nome Giancarlo Simoni, nasco in territorio ciociaro nel 1982 in un ambiente familiare musicale.

Il mio approccio al mondo della musica arriva nel 1996 periodo in cui inizio a studiare il basso elettrico, strumento questo, che dal 2000 mi da la possibilità di esibirmi live in vari luoghi e situazioni per tutta Italia.

In tutti questi anni di musica live però ho sempre riservato una particolare attenzione al mondo del Dj e nel 2009 acquisto la mia prima consolle che in breve tempo introduco negli spettacoli live.

Dal 2010 inizio delle collaborazioni artistiche con Dj professionisti del genere House e Deep House, incidendo le linee di basso elettrico sui loro singoli.

Nel 2019 frequento il corso presso l’Accademia Italiana Dj(AID) ottenendo il diploma professionale.

Non ho un genere musicale preferito in quanto sostengo che la musica “brutta” non esiste...esiste la musica inadeguata!!!

Geel acronym formed by the names of my family (GiancarloEmmaEdoardoLia), my real name Giancarlo Simoni, I was born in the Ciociaria area in 1982 in a musical family environment.
My approach to the world of music comes in 1996 when I start studying the electric bass, an instrument that, which since 2000 has given me the opportunity to perform live in various places and situations throughout Italy.
In all these years of live music, however, I have always paid particular attention to the world of DJs and in 2009 I bought my first console which I quickly introduce in live shows.
Since 2010 I start artistic collaborations with professional DJs of the House and Deep House genres, recording the electric bass lines on their singles.
In 2019 I attend the course at the Italian Dj Academy (AID) obtaining a professional diploma.
I don't have a favorite musical genre as I say that "bad" music doesn't exist...inadequate music exist!!!
